LED display.
The right-hand LED display of the master box indicates the tested
wire (1 - 8).
The left-hand LED display of the master box and the LED display of
the remote unit indicate the corresponding wire of the pair of wires,
provided the tested cable is not damaged.

Handling
To ensure long lasting performance of your cable tester please
consider the following recommendations to give the tester a longer
life:
- Never operate the device immediately after having carried it
from a cold to a warm room. The upcoming condensation wa-
ter may possibly destroy the device. Leave the tester swit-
ched off until it has warmed up to ambient temperature.
- Avoid operating the device beyond a temperature range of
0°C and 40°C.
