1.1 Transmitter
1 Latches for securing the housing

the low voltage jack (17) of the control console;
the adapter with the marking "5.5 X 2.5" and the
identification letter "G" is required
10 Voltage selector switch; slide the switch fully to the
left to 12 V
11 Power LED

13 Button for zooming
14 Button for switching on or off the camera transmit-
ter

2 Safety Notes

The units (transmitter, control console, and power
supply unit) correspond to the directive for electro-
magnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC. The power sup-
ply unit also corresponds to the low voltage directive
73/23/EEC.

3 Applications
The stationary control system AV-3800RM has been
specially designed for remote control of the wireless
surveillance camera AV-3800SET with pan/tilt head.
The unit is supplied with a control console, a separate
transmitter for outdoor use, a 25 m connection cable,
and a regulated power supply unit.

tee claim will expire if the unit has been

The transmitter is suitable for outdoor use (admissi-
ble ambient temperature range -10 °C to +55 °C),
but the power supply unit and the control console
are suitable for indoor use only. Protect them
against high air humidity, dripping water, and splash
water.
Do not operate the units or immediately disconnect
the power supply unit from the mains socket
1. if there is visible damage to one of the units,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled
personnel.
Never use aggressive cleansing agents or chemi-
cals for cleaning the housing of the transmitter. For
cleaning the power supply unit and the control con-
sole only use a dry, soft cloth.
No guarantee claims for the units and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage
will be accepted if the units are used for other pur-
poses than originally intended, if they are not cor-
rectly installed, operated or not repaired in an ex-
pert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation definitively,
take them to a local recycling plant for a disposal
which is not harmful to the environment.
