is used as a transducer for ASV
flowmeters to be fitted to the dovetail
guide.
The 4 ... 20mA output signal is in
proportion to the height of the magnetic
float.

Transport and storage

8.1

Transport

 Ensure careful transport of the
flow data sensor.
 Avoid impacts and vibrations.
8.2

Storage

 Store the flow data sensor in its
original packaging in a dry place.
 Avoid exposure to UV radiation
and direct sun radiation.
 Recommended storage
temperature: between 10 °C and
60 °C.

Function description

The flow data sensor ZE 3075 emits a
4 ... 20mA signal generated by the
height of the float in the flowmeter
(DFM).

The unit comprises a reed chain, the
respective evaluation and
implementation.
The floats of the flowmeters are
equipped with a permanent magnet.
The float travels along the reed chain
by the flow of the medium.
The individual contacts of the reed
chain are actuated in accordance with
the height of the float.
The measured values are emitted as a
2-wire current signal 4 ... 20mA. This
signal can be directly further
processed.

 is by the magnet in the float of
the flowmeter from ASV Stübbe.

 vertical installation, ASV logo on
top.
10. Installation

10.1 Mechanical installation

 Clamp the flow data sensor on
the dovetail at the measuring
tube.
 Set the the flow data sensor
position by sliding it on the
measuring tube, see figure "A1".
 The bottom notch marks the
minimum flow, the upper notch
the maximum flow.
 Arrest in position using fastening
screws.

10.2 Installation spacing

Where several DFM with ZE 3075 are
fitted in parallel, keep minimum
spacings according to figure "A2".
