How to Tell the Difference Between Axles
There are drastic differences between the ITD1400 Standard Aluminum Telescoping Axles and ITD1401 Positive Camber
Aluminum Telescoping Axles. To tell the differences between the two you must inspect some of the key features on the
axle. Inspect the profile of the axle, ITD1401 Positive Camber Aluminum Telescoping Axles have a laminated face as well
as additional flanges. Inspection of the cap profile view of ITD1401 Positive Camber Aluminum Telescoping Axles has a 3
degree angle different from the ITD1400 Standard Aluminum Telescoping Axle. Knowing exactly which model axle types
you have is important because both (ITD1400 & ITD 1401) are mutually exclusive of the other, and CANNOT be inter-
changed as a pair or used in conjunction with each other.
