Read the user manual carefully to make sure that the product is assembled, used and
maintained correctly, as described in the instructions in this user manual. Keep the user

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not connect any other appliances to the same wall socket as the
barbecue lighter is plugged into.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and older, and
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or with
a lack of experience and knowledge, provided that they are super-
vised or are given instructions on how to use the appliance safely and
understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with this
appliance. Children must not clean or carry out any maintenance unless
they are being supervised.
• Place the barbecue with the charcoal on a flat, stable surface. The bar-
becue must be made of metal and the diameter must be larger than
the barbecue lighter.
• Do not place the barbecue lighter on flammable or delicate surfaces
(wood, rubber or glass).
• The electrical cord must not be close to fire. Do not expose the cord to
high temperatures or place it under carpets, etc.
• Never touch the barbecue lighter until it is completely cold.
• A damaged electrical cord must be replaced by a qualified electrician.
• The barbecue lighter may only be used for lighting charcoal or briquettes.
• Do not expose to rain or moisture.
