Description of the appliance
Operating principle
‒ The gas-char grill has a grill surface above a pilot light and a gas control. The power can be vari
ably regulated manually. The pilot light is ignited by a piezo spark ignition. The gas burner is ig
nited by a pilot light using the gas control.
‒ The burner flame heats the lava/glowing rock. The lava/glowing rock transmits the heat to the
cooking grate and food to be cooked.
‒ Safety equipment: The appliance is not fitted with a thermoelectric safety pilot. Extinguishes the
burner and pilot light, cools down the thermocouple. By cooling the thermocouple, the gas supply
automatically closes and, thus, prevents the gas escaping uncontrolled.
