ENG
• Use barbecue gloves and silicone-coated barbecue equipment to avoid
burns when barbecuing.
• Never leave the barbecue unattended when it is on.
• Keep flammable gases and liquids, such as petrol or alcohol and other
flammable materials, at a safe distance from the barbecue.
• The barbecue is not intended to be used by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or with a lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or are given
instructions on how to use the barbecue by a person who is responsible
for their safety. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the barbecue.
• Please note! Never use metal cooking utensils, as they may damage the
non-stick coating on the barbecue plate. Instead, use silicone-coated
barbecue utensils that are intended for high temperatures.
USE
INITIAL USE
• Remove all packaging materials and clean the barbecue plate, grease cup and lid.
• Heat the barbecue on MAX for 3-5 minutes with the lid closed and no food on it. The first
time you use the barbecue, it may smoke a little. This is completely normal.
HEATING
• To heat the barbecue plate rapidly, turn the thermostat to MAX.
• Once the barbecue plate has reached the required temperature, you can start barbecuing.
• Then adjust the thermostat to the required setting.
BARBECUING
• We recommend always starting to barbecue with the thermostat set to MAX.
• First brown the food, e.g. the meat, that is to be barbecued on MAX.
• Once the meat is sealed, turn the thermostat to one of the lower settings and finish
cooking the meat.
• Remember that the barbecue plate has a non-stick coating. Be careful not to scratch
this coating while barbecuing. Use silicone-coated barbecue utensils. Do not use metal
barbecue utensils.
• Never cover the barbecue plate with aluminium foil, dishes, etc. They may damage the
non-stick coating and lead to overheating.
• During barbecuing, the barbecue plate must never be completely covered with food.
This may lead to overheating.
• Never barbecue outside in the rain or with a risk of rain.
• Once you have finished barbecuing, turn the thermostat to MIN and unplug the
barbecue. Allow the barbecue to cool.
