4.1 Before initial operation

1. Clean the appliance thoroughly. Be very careful especially inside the appliance.
2. After having installed the appliance wait 4-6 hours before you connect it
to the mains.
3. Set the thermostat to position 5 before you plug in the mains plug.
4. Afterwards operate the appliance after 24 hours for the first time.
5. If the accessories inside the appliance are not fitted in their correct position,
replace them according to the image above.
6. You can check the exact temperature of the cooling and freezer compartments
using a fridge and a freezer thermometer
7. When you put a freezer thermometer into the freezer compartment, the
temperature should reach -18
safely at this temperature.
8. Do not eat any frozen food such as bread, vegetables or fruit. Eating frozen
food can cause frostbite.
9. Draw the plug out of the socket before you clean or maintain the appliance.
Repairs must be performed by a qualified professional.
