2.2 CONVECTION CURRENT
The VENUS is one the few appliances that can burn both and
without fan.
2.2.1 Natural convection
It is compulsory to open at least 2 hot air vents.
The VENUS has been constructed in such a way that if it is con-
nected without a fan, but with hot air vents, the air at the front,
under , on the sides and even on top of the appliance is drawn
in. The natural capacity to draw air in is so great that the tempe-
rature above the stove does not exceed 60°C. As a result of our
special construction, the hot air comes out of the grids at such a
speed that one could swear that a fan is being used.
2.2.2 Convection by means of a fan (optional)
If you opt for a fan, the fresh air will be drawn in from below
and on the sides of the appliance and then blown out through
the convection casing. The fan may be mounted either inside or
outside the hearth so that one has the option of assembling or
dissembling it in the future.
In this situation it is not obligatory to connect air ducts.
2.2.3 Fan dimmer ( optional )
• Leave the adjustment of the fan speed closed.
• Fuse 1.5A ( Take the knob off, unscrew the li�le plate, take it
out to be replaced.)
• The adjustment screw for the minimum speed is under the
knob.
• The fan (optional) may be started after the fire has burned for
15 min.
• Let the fan turn at the maximum speed for 12 hours the first
time.

2.2 KONVEKTIONSSTRÖMUNGEN
Der Venus ist eines der wenigen Geräte das sowohl mit als auch
ohne Ventilator brennt.
2.2.1 Natürliche Konvektion
Sie sind verpflichtet oberhalb des Gerätes 2 Warmluftausgänge
zu öffnen. Beim Anschluss ohne Ventilator, aber mit Warmluf-
tausgängen, ist der Venus so konstruiert, dass die gesamte Luft
an der Vorderseite des Geräts angezogen wird. Die natürliche
Saugkraft ist so groß, dass die Temperatur oberhalb des Sichtfen-
sters nicht höher wird als 60°. Durch diese spezielle Konstruk-
tion kommt die warme Luft so schnell aus den Gi�ern, dass der
Eindruck entsteht, dass ein Ventilator eingeschaltet ist.
2.2.2 Konvektion durch Ventilator (Zusa�-Option)
Wenn Sie sich für das Brennen mit Ventilator entscheiden, wird
die frische Luft von unten und der Seite angezogen und entlang
dem Konvektionsmantel ausgeblasen.
Der Ventilator kann sowohl vorher als auch im eingebauten Zus-
tand montiert werden, so haben Sie die Möglichkeit den Ventila-
tor im Nachhinein zu montieren. (Achtung: Pla� für den Venti-
lator und die Stromzufuhr vorsehen)
Der Anschluss von Aluflexschläuchen ist nicht notwendig.
2.2.3 Dimmer für Ventilator
• Erlaubt die Reglung der Ventilationsgeschwindigkeit
• Sicherung 1,5A (Knopf entfernen, Schildchen losschrauben,
rausziehen zum Erse�en)
• Die Reglungsschraube für die minimale Geschwindigkeit be-
findet sich unterhalb des Knopfes.
Extras: (M-Design entwickelt zurzeit einen neuen Induktions-
dimmer, mit dem der Ventilator fast geräuschlos dreht)
• Nach 15 Minuten Brennzeit können Sie den Ventilator starten.
• Stellen Sie den Ventilator bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme 12
Stunden auf maximale Geschwindigkeit ein.
