CONTROL MODULE DESCRIPTION
The 20 and 26 inch Nilfisk-Advance scrubbers have an electronic module that
controls the activation of the scrub brush motors for scrubbing and removal of the
brushes/pads and the low voltage cutout function.
For normal scrubbing the brush motor(s) will activate only if the brushes are down
and the throttle is in the forward or reverse position.
For removal of the brushes/pads the scrub deck must be in the up position. To
remove the brushes/pads simply depress the remove switch. The module will
momentarily run the brush motor and then stop it quickly.
The low voltage cutout is adjustable for two different thresholds. The normal
setting cuts out at 1.75 volts per cell and the alternate setting cuts out at 1.83 volts
per cell. The cutout level is selected by momentarily depressing the pushbutton
switch located on the module circuit board.
There is an LED indicator on the circuit board which gives the following
indications:
OFF - no battery power, key is off, or module not functioning
SLOW FLASH - alternate low voltage threshold selected
FAST FLASH - standard low voltage threshold selected
ON - module is in low voltage cutout mode - scrub motor will not operate until
batteries are recharged
It is important to note that this module is not connected to the Curtis battery fuel
gauge. Therefore, the fuel gauge may or may not be flashing when the module
inhibits the brush motor operation depending on the low voltage cutout threshold
selected.

BESCHREIBUNG DES STEUERMODULS

Die 21 und 26 Zoll Nilfisk-Advance-Schrubbmaschinen sind mit einem
elektronischen Modul ausgestattet, das die Aktivierung der
Schrubbbürstenmotoren beim Schrubben und beim Entfernen der Bürsten/
Kissen sowie die Niederspannungsabschaltung regelt.
Bei normalem Schrubben wird/werden der/die Bürstenmotor/en nur aktiviert,
wenn die Bürsten gesenkt sind und sich der Gashebel in der Vorwärts- oder
Rückwärtsposition befindet.
Beim Entfernen der Bürsten/Kissen muss sich die Bürstenabdeckung in
angehobener Position befinden. Zum Entfernen der Bürsten/Kissen ist einfach
der Schalter zum Entfernen der Bürste(n) zu drücken. Das Modul wird den
Bürstenmotor kurz laufen lassen und dann schnell stoppen.
Die Niederspannungsabschaltung lässt sich auf zwei verschiedene Schwellwerte
einstellen. Bei normaler Einstellung wird bei 1,75 Volt pro Zelle abgeschaltet,
die Alternativ-Einstellung schaltet bei 1,83 Volt pro Zelle ab. Die Wahl der
Abschalt-Stufe erfolgt durch kurzzeitiges Drücken des Druckknopfschalters an
der Schaltkarte des Moduls.
An der Schaltkarte befindet sich eine LED-Anzeige, die wie folgt anzeigt:
AUS - kein Batterie-Strom, Schlüssel ist abgezogen oder Modul funktioniert
nicht
LANGSAMES BLINKEN - Alternativ-Niederspannungsschwellwert gewählt
SCHNELLES BLINKEN - Standard-Niederspannungsschwellwert gewählt
EIN - Modul ist in Niederspannungsabschalt-Betrieb = der Schrubbmotor kann
erst betrieben werden, wenn die Batterien erneut geladen sind
Es ist in hohem Maße erwähnenswert, dass dieses Modul nicht an den Curtis
Batterie-Zustandsanzeiger angeschlossen ist. Daher kann der Zustandsanzeiger
entweder blinken oder auch nicht, wenn das Modul den Betrieb des Bürstenmotors
je nach dem gewählten Schwellwert zur Niederspannungsabschaltung
verhindert.
