Choosing the position of the Wavebox
Place TUNZE® Wavebox 6215 in any corner of
the aquarium. Ensure a tight fit (please refer to the
chapter titled „Attachment").
Wavebox should be fitted upright and should not
move during operation.
For perfect wave formation and circular current, we
recommend positioning the water outlet in direction
of the longitudinal axis of the aquarium (1).
Set the immersion depth in such a way that the
water level is below the lower cover of the Wavebox
at maximum wave formation (2). If the wave height
is not known yet, the water level without waves
should be about 2 to 3 cm (.78 to 1.18 in.) below
the upper cover of the Wavebox (please refer to the
chapter titled „Wave on the Comline tank").
Wavebox produces a pulsating circular current,
which should never be in competition with the
circulating filter current, but should be supplementary
only. The current of the Wavebox produced should
permit the transport of impurities to the outlet or to
the impurities aspiration.
Placement Wavebox
Placez TUNZE® Wavebox 6215 dans un coin de
l'aquarium, veillez à la bonne tenue du support, voir
Fixation.
Wavebox doit être parfaitement verticale sans
être soumise à des soubresauts durant son
fonctionnement.
Afin de garantir une oscillation conséquente
ainsi qu'un brassage circulaire, nous conseillons
d'orienter sa sortie d'eau en direction de la longueur
de l'aquarium (1).
Ajustez la hauteur d'immersion de telle manière,
à ce que le niveau d'eau maxi reste en-dessous
du couvercle supérieur (2). Si le niveau maxi n'est
pas connu, positionnez le niveau d'eau (aquarium
au repos) à 2 ou 3 cm en-dessous du couvercle
supérieur, voir niveau représenté sur le conteneur
Comline.
Wavebox engendre un brassage circulaire dans
l'aquarium, ce brassage ne doit jamais concurrencer
celui provenant de la filtration mais au contraire le
renforcer. Ce brassage doit encore permettre de
transporter les détritus vers le déversoir ou vers
l'aspiration de la filtration.
