Aufstellungstipps
Ihre neue Vento Reference bevorzugt einen Wandabstand von
20 cm bis 1 Meter und eine leichte Anwinklung von 0° bis 5° nach
innen. Entscheiden Sie selbst, welche Aufstellung Ihnen in punkto
Linearität und Abbildungstreue am besten gefällt.
Eine gute Orientierung für eine optimale Aufstellung Ihrer neuen
Lautsprecher ist das sogenannte „Stereo-Dreieck" (Abb.3). Dies
ergibt sich, wenn die Lautsprecher und Ihr gewohnter Hörplatz die
Eckpunkte eines gleichseitigen Dreiecks bilden.
Zur Entkopplung liegen Ihren Canton Lautsprechern selbstklebende
Shockabsorber und Spikes bei. Diese können entweder unter die
Lautsprecher geklebt werden oder in die Gewindebohrungen in der
Bodenplatte geschraubt werden (Abb. 4).
Technische Details
Verantwortlich für die klanglich außergewöhnliche Perfektion ist
die Verwendung hochwertigster elektronischer Bauteile und die
Konstruktion der Weiche. So wurde, um Mikrofonie-Effekte zu
unterdrücken, die Leiterplatte der Frequenzweiche schwingungs-
gedämpft. Zum Einsatz kommen nur hochwertigste Komponen-
ten. Ebenfalls in die Frequenzweiche integriert ist die von Canton
entwickelte DC-Technologie, die subsonische Schwingungen des
Tieftöners unterdrückt und die Bässe spürbar straffer und präziser
klingen lässt.
Positioning the speakers
The Vento Reference needs a wall distance from 20 cm (7.9") to
1 meter (3 feet) and an angle of 0° to 5° inwards. Decide for
yourself which position pleases you best.
The "stereo triangle" is a good rule of guidance for optimum
positioning of your new Canton speakers (Fig. 3). This means that
the best performance is usually obtained when the two speakers
and your favourite listening position lie at the corners of an
equilateral triangle.
For decoupling the speakers from the floor your Vento Reference
are provided with self-adhesive rubber pucks and metal spikes.
Those can either be stuck underneath the speakers or screwed in
the tapped holes in the base plate of your Canton speaker (Fig. 4).

Technical details
Responsible for the system's exceptional acoustic perfection are
the use of top-quality electronic components and the innovative
design of the crossover network. To suppress feedback effects,
the crossover network has been mounted so as to be insulated
against vibrations. Premium-quality components are used
exclusively. Likewise integrated into the crossover network is
the DC technology developed by Canton, which suppresses
subsonic vibrations of the woofer and delivers bass tones that
are perceptibly tauter and more precise.
