Maintenance and Storage
The unit is not waterproof / water resistance and never submerge into
water or other form of liquid. You may use moistened cotton or alcohol
swab with 70 % isopropyl in wiping the tip and probe before or after
use. While only use a soft dry cloth in cleaning the plastic body casing.
The following helpful tips will enable you to maintain and secure optimum
result, as well prolong the life of the unit.
1. Always remove the battery from the unit when not to be used in long
time and store the unit in a room temperature
2. Do not expose the unit to a direct sunlight or high temperature and
humidity.
3. Do not drop the unit as it is not a shock proof and may cause damage
with electronic parts.
4. Keep out the unit from the reach of children.
5. Use the unit per illustrated and indicated instructions with this manu-
al.
6. Keep a distance away from any electro magnetic transmitters or
appliances that may cause disturbance, as well inaccurate measure-
ment of the unit.
7. The unit is fully calibrated and has been carefully tested.
8. In case of malfunctions, refrain from doing any repair and bring the
unit back to where it´s purchased or only to authorized agent.
Removing and Installing the Batteries
Please refer to hereunder illustrations and follow the instructions.
a. Press the snap and slide down the battery cover from the unit.
b. With only a little pressure, remove the batteries from the compart-
ment.
c. With emphasis for the right polarity indicated in the battery compart-
ment, install a new set of batteries.
d. Slide back gently the battery cover.
e. Only use the right type of battery, which is of AAA size x 2 pieces.
