2.4 EP-64 RM Receiver Module

The EP-64 RM is a compact receiver, fix installed to EasyPort or
Direct-Media. The EP-64 RM operates on 64 reversible frequencies
in the 790 to 814 MHz UHF carrrier frequency range. Both antennas
(antenna diversity) are also integrated in the loud speaker casing.
The built-in receiver will turn on automatically, as soon as EasyPort
or Direct-Media are switched on. The EP-64 RM is implemented in
solid metal housing.

GROUP / CH Channel Control

You can set the desired radio channel at channel selection
switches (1) and (2) using the screwdriver supplied. The 64
channels are divided into 4 groups (1) A-D, each containing 16
channels (2) 1-16.
If a new channel is adjusted, the activation needs two seconds
to complete.

RF Status Indicator
The status LED flashes red when:
1.
EasyPort is switched ON,
2.
The Handheld Transmitter is switched ON and the mute
status on the Handheld Transmitter switched OFF,
3.
The Bodypack is switched ON,
4.
The transmission between transmitter and receiver exists,
i.e. the channels are corresponding.

AF Status Indicator
The status LED lights green, when receiving an audio signal.

VOL Volume Control
This rotary potentiometer sets the loudness volume of the
wireless microphone.
Note (only FP1):
If two receiver are mounted in an EasyPort FP1pro/CD/MP3,
both receiver are internally paralleled and put on CH3 on
EasyPort FP1.
In this case the total volume of the wireless microphone is
controlled over the CH3. The volume difference between
microphone 1 and 2 must be adjusted over the VOL Control (5).
Carrier Frequency Label
The label on the rear panel of FP1pro/CD/MP3 and Direct-Media
indicates the 64 carrier frequencies and the approval marks of your
transmitter.

2.5 EP-64 H Handheld Transmitter

The EP-64 H handheld transmitter operates with 64 reversible
frequencies in the 790 to 814 MHz UHF carrrier frequency range.
EP-64 H features a clear display, which shows the adjusted carrier
frequencies and battery status. Additionally, you can lock the set
carrier frequency and ON/OFF switch against operating errors.
EP-64 H contributes an integrated antenna.
The microphone head features a built-in wind and pop filter to
reduce wind and breath noise and provides low handling noise
sensitivity, high gain before feedback and brilliant sound quality.
The solid metal body supports an optimal handling.

Mute
The signal delivered by the microphone is muted while power
and the RF carrier frequency remain on. This prevents the
receiver from responding to interferences from other
transmitters.

Battery Compartment
Battery compartment to insert supplied size AA 1.5 V dry
batteries or a standard 1.2 V rechargeable batteries, >2100
mAh size AA.

Frequency Label
The label on the stem of the transmitter indicates the available
carrier frequencies and approval information.

Display
Shows adjusted channel as well as the current battery status.
The 64 channels are grouped into A to D with 16 channels 1 to
16 each.
