b) Speaker Outputs
Connection to the speakers must be two-wire each. Insulate all connection points. Make sure
that the cables are not damaged by sharp edges. Only use speakers with sufficient load capacity
(see chapter „Technical Data").
Connect the speakers directly with the amplifier. Do not use any headphones or junction boxes.
If in doubt, contact a specialist.
Make sure that all speakers have the correct polarity, i.e. the plus and minus signs of receiver
and speakers must match.
The amplifier was developed for operation at speaker impedances of 8 W to 16 W. Never use any
speakers with a lower impedance. Only connect one speaker to each output.
The receiver has two connections for front speakers (front left and front right) and two connec-
tions for surround speakers (rear left and rear right).
If you do not want to use the surround playback mode, the two connections for the front speakers
(labelled „FRONT SPEAKERS") must be used. The connections for the surround speakers then
remain unoccupied.
Connection of the front speakers:
The connections for the front speakers are designated „FRONT SPEAKERS".
• Connect the plus pole (+) of the left speaker to the red terminal „L+" of the receiver.
• Connect the minus pole (-) of the left speaker to the black terminal „L-" of the receiver.
• Connect the plus pole (+) of the right speaker to the red terminal „R+" of the receiver.
• Connect the minus pole (-) of the right speaker to the black terminal „R-" of the receiver.
Connection of the surround speakers:
The connections for the surround speakers are designated „SURROUND SPEAKERS".
• Connect the plus pole (+) of the left speaker to the red terminal „L+" of the receiver.
• Connect the minus pole (-) of the left speaker to the black terminal „L-" of the receiver.
• Connect the plus pole (+) of the right speaker to the red terminal „R+" of the receiver.
• Connect the minus pole (-) of the right speaker to the black terminal „R-" of the receiver.
