is provided with a scart jack, use the supplied
connection cable, and set the switch on the scart
plug to position "IN". If the signal source is pro-
vided with another jack type, an adapter is re-
quired, e. g. VC-162 from MONACOR.
2) Connect the DIN AV jack (2) of the receiver station
with the audio (video) input of the reproduction
unit (e. g. TV set, video recorder, HiFi amplifier, or
surveillance monitor). If the reproduction unit is
equipped with a scart jack, use the supplied
connection cable, and set the switch on the scart
plug to position "OUT". If the reproduction unit is
equipped with another jack type, an adapter is re-
quired, e. g. VC-162 from MONACOR.
3) Connect one power supply unit each to the low
voltage jack (3) of the transmitter station and the
receiver station. Observe in any case the polarity:
connect the positive pole to the inside contact of
the plug. Adjust the output voltage at the power
supply units:
9 V for the receiver
12 V for the transmitter
Only after all other connections have been made,
connect the power supply units to a mains socket
(230 V~/50 Hz). Then the wireless system is ready
for operation.
4) If the transmission is poor due to interferences in
the selected channel, switch the transmitter station
as well as the receiver station to a channel free of
interferences.
5) If the system is not used for a longer period of
time, disconnect the power supply units from the
mains sockets as these permanently have a low
power consumption.
4.4 Correcting the video level
If the picture of the reproduction unit (TV set, video re-
corder, surveillance monitor) appears too bright or too
dark, correct the video level with the control "video
level" (4) on the receiver station. For this pierce the
circle of the label with a small screw driver. Make the
adjustment by means of the screw driver.
5 Extension facilities
For extending the wireless system the following units
are available from MONACOR:
1. AV-200SET (transmitter and receiver) for simul-
taneous transmission of different signals (e. g.
nursery monitoring and music transmission). Up to
three systems can be used in parallel (see chap-
ter 4.2).
2. AV-200TX (transmitter) for signal transmission
from another transmitter station
3. AV-110R (receiver with mono sound) or
AV-210R (receiver with stereo sound) for signal
transmission to another receiver station
