Switching on and off
Turning the knurled wheel of switch @) slightly backward will switch on
the set. The on-position is indicated by controller
@.
For switching off,
reverse the procedure. Controller
@
serves also to control the battery
voltage. This is to say: as soon as the pointer on the left of the upper
scale moves within the light field, the battery set Is exhausted and
must be replaced. Please switch on the tape recorder just before using
it, because the motor starts running when switching on. Otherwise life
of batteries will be shortened unnecessarily.

playback.
To avoid Interfering noises of the motor assembly during a recording,
the TK 6 should be placed as far as possible from the radio set, use the
full length of the connection lead.
After radio set and tape recorder have been switched on, tune in the
desired station and adjust to best tonal quality. Volume and tone con-
trols can be set to suit your taste because they don't affect the recording.
For recording, lock temporary stop button ® . Next depress recording
button

and while holding it down, start button

When turning now level control
®
backward, you will note that the
pointer of the controller
®
starts moving in accordance with music or
speech. Turn the control until the pointer reaches the red field on the
right of the upper scale but never moves within this field.
As soon as temporary stop button® is released, the tape starts running
and all signals coming from your radio set are recorded on the tape.
At the end of the recording, depress stop button ®. which releases re-
cording button

and start button

Nous vous recommandons de n'allumer l'eppareil qu'au moment ou
vous desirez ecouter !'emission, parce que le moteur commence a
tourner au moment de l'allumage. Autrement Ia duree des piles sera
redulte lnutilement.
Maintenant a faire le premier enregistrement ...
Enregistrement de programmes radiophoniques
Premierement, reliez par un cable 237 Ia prise Radio/ Micro

trouve realisee Ia liaison pour !'enregistrement et Ia reproduction.
Durant !'enregistrement, placez l'enregistreur tant eloigne de l'appareil
radio que possible en profitant de Ia longueur du cable, pour eviter des
interferences du moteur.
Apres avolr mis en marche l'enregistreur et l'appareil radio, reglez celul-
ci avec le maximum de qualite sur le programme desire. Vous pouvez
independamment regler Ia puissance et Ia tonalite selon votre goat,
parce qu'elles n'exercent aucune Influence sur Ia qualite d'enregistre-
ment.
Pour enreglstrer, enfoncez d'abord Ia touche •Stop momentane• ®.
Enclencher ensuite Ia touche ·Enregistrement• @ et en Ia tenant dans
cette position, enfoncez Ia touche ·Marche·

Si vous tournez meintenant Ia molette de reglage de nlveau
®
en
arriere, vous remarquez que l'aiguille du contrOie @ bouge au rythme
de Ia parole ou de Ia musique. Le nlveau correct est attelnt lorsque,
dans les •Fortes•. l'alguille touche Ia section rouge situee a drolte de
l'echelle superieure, mais n'y entre pas (le terme technique est: •en-
registrement
a
modulation maxima·).
Des que vous relachez maintenant Ia touche ·Stop momentane• ®. Ia
bande demarre et commence
a
enregistrer le programme radiophonlque.
A Ia fin de !'enregistrement, vous appuyez sur Ia touche ·Arret•®. Alnsl
vous liberez les touches ·Enregistrement• @ et •Marche» (Start)
