1. Generals
Mosquitoes not only bug you with their incessant buz-
zing, they also bite! Most kinds of mosquitoes prefer
to be active at dusk; they come out of their hiding
places and are attracted to light and smells. Before
you are awake half the night hunting them down, you
should take preventive measures and get rid of any
mosquitoes in your rooms. Our Gardigo Flying Insect
Killer with UV LED light will help you do so. Close the
windows and switch the appliance on about 60 minu-
tes before using the room. The UV LED light with its
special ultra-violet light (364 nm) will attract the mos-
quitoes which are then killed quickly and painlessly by
the integrated high-voltage mesh.

4. Start-up
Hang or place the device in the spot somewhere in
the room that is as dark as possible, preferably at a
height of 1.5 to 3 m. Plug the device into a power outlet
(230 V).
Attention! Operate the device only with the in-
tended voltage. Make sure that the operating
voltage of your power connection corresponds
to this voltage. Now you can start the device by using
the ON/OFF switch.
5. notes on operation
For the most successful results, please keep some
points in mind when starting up and using the device.
Insects are known to be attracted by light and odour.
· Hang or place the device in a spot somewhere in the
room that is as dark place possible and far away from
another light source.
· Make sure that there are no people or food nearby
as they would likewise attract insects and this may
reduce success of the device.
· Insects avoid drafts, so do not hang the device in the
window. Close any windows and doors.
· Start the device in the evening. The device should
be used when people are not present. Mosquitos
are attracted to smells, light or colour. If smells are
excluded, it is more likely that the mosquito will be
attracted to the UV light. Turn the device on 30 to
60 minutes before going to sleep; as soon as you go
to bed, place the lamp in the hallway; this will keep
more mosquitos away.

· Use only original spare parts for repairs.
· Visually check service wires or cables before starting
the device; do not start the device if there is any visible
damage.

the warranty; such work may only be performed by a
specialist.
· This appliance is not suitable for children and should
be placed out of the reach of children.
· The device is not suitable for use in rooms with flam-
mable liquids, explosive gases and dust.
· Do not use the device in barns, stables or other places
where there is a risk of fire.
· Never insert objects into the device.
