OPERATION

• Screw a suitable guide cap onto the camera head before using the product. Use the smaller
guide cap for small pipes or narrow passages.
• Connect the connector on the back of the reel to the connection socket on the extension
cable. Turn the fastening ring clockwise to secure the connection.
• Connect the connector on the extension cable to the endoscope. Turn the fastening ring
clockwise to secure the connection.
• Turn the endoscope on.
• The flex camera can be attached to a user's belt using a hook to enable easy unwinding.
• Place the camera neck into the guiding hooks. Unwind the camera neck slowly from the reel
and insert it carefully into the area you want to inspect. Ensure that the camera neck does
not jump out of the guiding hooks.
• The camera neck must not be submerged beyond the "IP67 max. water level" mark.
• You can control the brightness of the camera LEDs. Information on controlling the LED
brightness can be found in the operating instructions of the connected endoscope.
• Slowly wind the camera neck back onto the reel when pulling it out of the area you just
inspected. Wipe the camera neck with a damp cloth when winding it back up. Ensure that
the camera neck does not jump out of the guiding hooks.
• Turn off the endoscope after you have finished using it.
• Disconnect the reel unit and the endoscope used for display and then remove the extension
cable. To remove the extension cable, turn the fastening ring on a connector anticlockwise
and carefully detach it. Repeat this procedure with the other end of the extension cable.
• Secure the camera head and connection socket in order to protect them against damage.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

• The device does not require maintenance except for cleaning.
• Do not fully submerge the camera neck (with the reel) into water (pay attention to the "IP67
max. water level" mark).
• Use a small brush or a cotton bud to clean the camera lens.
• Use a soft, antistatic and lint-free cloth to clean the device. Do not use any abrasive or
chemical cleaning materials.
• Let the camera dry before putting the guide cap on as thread protection.
