DC voltage shares can occur at the
COM as well as at the voltage input
socket with reference to ground.
The Multimeter series UNITEST
Hexagon is equipped with a CMRR
mode.
Hereby undesirable DC voltage
shares are suppressed which
could cause digital jumps or off-
sets during voltage measure-
ments.
The CMRR mode for the UNITEST
Hexagon series is specified to >60
dB at 0...60 Hz in AC voltage ran-
ges and >120 dB at 0 Hz, 50 Hz and
60 Hz in DC voltage ranges.

7.9.1 Example:

General information to carry out
measurements in compliance with
IEC874-1.
IEC874-1 deals with plug connec-
tors for optical waveguides and
cables. It also contains how to
carry out reproducible measure-
ments of optical attenuation in
optical waveguide systems.
Methods 6 and 7 are of particular
importance. Method 7 is only valid
for short test paths whereby both
connection of an optical wavegui-
de system are directly accessible
within one room, e.g. patch cords,
pigtails. Method 6 has general vali-
dity and can always be carried out,
however requires a larger amount
of measurement cables and cou-
plings.
