Start-up

In order to ensure that the device is set up in the correct
manner, be sure to read fully with due care and attention the
operation and safety instructions!
Prior to connecting the CD player, switch off the amplifier and
all other devices that are supposed to be connected to it and
disconnect them from the power supply network.
Proceed likewise when changing the wiring.

Setting up

When choosing the installation spot, please make sure that the
device is not exposed to direct sunlight, vibrations, dust, heat,
cold temperatures or moisture. No strong transformers or
engines may lie in the proximity of the device.
Only operate the CD player in a horizontal position, as otherwise
no correct function is ensured. Failure to observe this note may
result in damages to the inserted CD or to the CD player.
Place the device on a smooth firm surface.
Given the wide range of lacquers and polishes used by furniture manufacturers, it may
be possible for chemical reactions to cause the device feet to leave visible marks on your
furniture. Therefore, you should not place the device on valuable furniture surfaces
without suitable protection.

Effects
Select the effect unit by pressing the ON/OFF effect switch (11) and use the effect
SELECT button (8) to choose the desired effect.
The LED light of the selected effect flashes.
The following effects are available:
Scratch effect
Flanger effect
Filter effect
Reverse effect
Tip:
By turning the jog wheel (15) clockwise, you can set the play speed in a way
similar to the use of the Pitch Bend (12).
By moving the jog wheel (15) forwards and
backwards, you can simulate
scratching sound of a vinyl record.
Tip: If the jog wheel is no longer moved,
the CD continues to be read in normal
mode. By moving the jog wheel (15) again,
the CD will play in scratch mode again.
Flanger is a filter effect that works
especially with high and medium
frequencies. It is comparable with a
starting airplane.
Turn the jog wheel (15) clockwise to
lengthen the effect.
This effect impairs the peaks and the
basses. Turn the jog wheel (15) clockwise
to suppress the basses and to keep the
peaks. Turn the jog wheel
anticlockwise to suppress the peaks and
to keep the basses.
This effect plays the CD backwards.
