5 Troubleshooting

Error
The compressor leaks oil
Air is continiously leaking from
pressure switch when the
compressor is stopped
The compressor is very noisy
The compressor does not work
100%
The compressor starts and stops
frequently
All air drifts out through the
pressure switch after air
compression
The compressor is compressing air
even though the compressor has
reached the working pressure
Safety valve is activated even
though max. pressure has not been
reached
Cause
Oil level is too high
Dirt in the bypass valve
Wrong oil type is used (use synthetic
compressor oil only)
A missing phase in the power supply
Overdimensioned air tools are used
Dirt is stuck in the bypass valve or
the black rubber plug is defect
The pressure switch is covered with
verdigris
Defect safety valve
Repairment
Remove oil through plug till oil glass
is half full
Clean the bypass valve or repplace
rubber fitting in the bypass valve
Maybe it is necessary to replace the
air end
Open the electricity box on top of
the motor and check if all wires are
properly connected
Check air consumption of tools
Clean the bypass valve or replace
the rubber plug
Replace the pressure switch
Replace the safety valve
