1 Before operating the machine

This chapter informs you about basic advice as to the safe handling of the compressor.
Before operating the machine you should carefully inspect the machine in order to find possible missing
parts or damages. Please report anything which is not satisfactory, to your local RENNER dealer.

1.1 Safety

Cable inspection
The isolation on the cable must be free, flawless, and without cracks.
In doubt please contact your electricity expert or your RENNER dealer.
Please see if the voltage displayed on the registration plate is equivalent to the voltage in your power
supply.
Inspection of current intensity and fuse conditions
Please check if your electricity supply can cope with the electricity supply displayed on the registration plate.
Wrong current connection of the machine can lead to life threatening electrical chocks. The machine
must only be connected to electrical circuits with earth connection. It is recommenced that the machine
is connected to a current source with a HFI- relay.
WARNING!
Do not ever remove safety valves or quick couplings when a pressure has been build up in the
receiver. The air pressure can make the safety valves and couplings can jump out as projectiles.
