2 Function, use and operation time

2.1 Function

The compressor compresses atmospheric air to a high pressure at the means of the compressor. After this
the air is stored in the tank unit. Now the stored compressed air can be used as propellant for tools (Please
see 2.2)

2.2 Use

The compressor should primarily be used as propellant for tools such as air impact wrenches, air drills, air
sanders, air polishers, air spray guns, air screw drivers. In addition the compressor can be used for controlling
feeding systems for breeding animals or propellant for other production facilities. If the compressor is used for
other purposes please contact a RENNER dealer.
It is of great importance that the user of the compressor knows the capacity of the compressor in proportion to
the tools which is being used. It is essential that there is a harmony between the compressors` delivered air
and the tools` air consumption. If there is a disharmony the compressor can be overloaded.

2.3 Operation time

The models for hobby and craft are designed for short-term operation, and thus not designed for longer
continuous operation time or even uninterrupted service.
This may damage the system and has a negative effect on the warranty.
