Feed selection
This slide is used to set the desired feed.
- 1 day / 7 days / 30 days (at a line frequency
of 50 Hz).
- 20 h / 5.8 days / 25 days (at a line frequency
of 60 Hz).
The pointer tip is visible in the narrow slot beneath the
stroke-adjustment screw, and appears every 6 seconds to
register the measuring point. Depending on the time of
disconnection from the line, it is also possible for the
pointer to stop in the recording position.
In order to avoid damage to the pointer, if it is in the
recording position, mate sure that a record chart has been
inserted before the plexiglass cover is closed.
After the desired feed has been set, the new record chart is
inserted and pushed onto the four guide pins in the center.
Clockwise rotation of the driving shaft sets the time at the
circumference of the record chart to the white mark at the
edge of the instrument. A slight clockwise turn will lock on
the plexiglass cover. (Note the inscription "ELMES 12" in
the center.)
