Air-inlet pipe
Air-outlet pipe
An air inlet pipe can be connected to supply the oven with
fresh air. The pipe should be dimensioned large enough to
provide the desired exchange of air.
The vapors produced in the oven during the heating phase
can be expelled through an air-outlet pipe.
Vapors and gases detrimental to health and the environ-
ment must be carried off by all means.
For this purpose, a temperature-resistant and corrosion-
proof air-outlet pipe should be used which can be
connected to the air-outlet socket.
When several ovens beside each other are connected to a
central air-extraction pipe, we recommend the installation
of a draft interrupter (see illustration).

Bench installation Heating ovens without a fan (T 6060 and T 6120) can also
be built into laboratory benches.
ITT ovens may not be built in.
For safety reasons, the laboratory benches must be of
non-combustible materials in accordance with
DIN-Standard 4102. Installation is carried out as follows:
* Connect the heating oven to the line.
* Fit it underneath the bench, taking care not to damage
the power-supply cable.
A wall spacer provides for clearance between the rear wall
of the laboratory bench and the oven. The clearance all the
way around the unit must be at least 25 mm.
