Spannungsversorgung
Die Betriebsspannung von 16 Volt wird an
der braunen und der gelben Buchse, welche
mit „+" und „-" bezeichnet sind, angeschlos-
sen und kann dem Beleuchtungsausgang ei-
nes Modellbahntransformators entnommen
werden. Es kann Wechsel- oder Gleichspan-
nung verwendet werden. Bei Gleichspan-
nung ist die Polarität zu beachten.
Dunkeltastung
Ein Vorsignal, welches sich am Mast eines
Hauptsignals befindet, bleibt dunkel, wenn
das Hauptsignal am gleichen Mast "Halt"
zeigt. Um dieses mit dem 5210 zu realisie-
ren, darf die standardmäßige Verbindung
zwischen
DT
und
L+
am Steuerbaustein
nicht gemacht werden. Dieses gilt also für
viessmann
die
-Signale 4014, 4015, 4016,
4414, 4415, 4416, 4814, 4815, 4816, 4914,
4915, 4916 und 4004.
Während der Dunkeltastung bleibt das aktu-
elle Vorsignalbild jedoch im Signalsteuerbau-
stein gespeichert, um nach Aufhebung der
Dunkeltastung, d.h. wenn das Hauptsignal
am gleichen Mast "Fahrt" bzw. "Langsam-
fahrt" zeigt, wieder zu erscheinen.
Wichtig!
Wenn sich Haupt- und Vorsignal am
gleichen Mast befinden, sind beide Sig-
nalschirme am selben Signalsteuerbau-
stein anzuschließen, damit die Dunkel-
tastung wirken kann!
Konventionelles Abrufen
der Signalbilder
Die einzelnen Signalbilder können über Tast-
schalter mit Momentkontakt abgerufen wer-
den. Diese werden an den 7 Buchsen rechts
neben der "DT" -Buchse angeschlossen und
müssen eine Verbindung zu der mit "+" be-
zeichneten Betriebsspannungsbuchse her-
stellen.
Die Verwendung von Schaltern mit
Dauerkontakt
, z.B. Kippschaltern,
ist nicht
zulässig
, da eine korrekte Funktion bei der
gleichzeitiger Aktivierung mehrerer Eingänge
eines Steuerkreises nicht garantiert werden
kann!

Power Supply
You have to connect the power supply of 16
volts at the brown and yellow sockets which
are marked by " + " and " - ". You can take
the power from the lighting output of your
model train transformer and you can use AC
or DC. If you are going to use DC you have
to take care of the polarity.
Dark Switching
A distant signal which is located at the same
mast as a main signal is switched off if the
home signal at this mast displays "stop". To
achieve this, the connection between
DT
and
L+
may not be made. That applies to the
viessmann
colour light signals 4014, 4015,
4016, 4414, 4415, 4416, 4814, 4815, 4816,
4914, 4915, 4916 and 4004.
While the dark switching is active, the actual
distant signal aspect is stored by the control
modul. It appears again, if the main signal at
the same mast changes to "go" or "go with
reduced speed".
Important!
You have connect both signals (distant
and home signal) that are mounted at one
mast to the same control module 5210.
Conventional call of the
Signal Aspects
The various signal aspects can be called by
push-button switches with momentary con-
tacts. You have to wire them to the 7 sockets
at the right side of the "DT"-socket and the
switches have to make a connection to the
"+"- labeled power socket.
Don't use swit-
ches with continuous contacts
, e.g. toggle
switches, because we can't guarantee
correct function of the control module if you
activate more than one input of each control
circuit simultaneously!
