The built-in receiver of the Porty Premium power pack will
be powered on together with the flash unit. The channel
selection can be performed by turning the knob lateral on
the housing by means of a screwdriver.
The built-in receiver of the Porty Lithium, Porty Premium
Plus, Nova D, Tria 24 SF and Pro Mini AS power packs
has to be activated by pressing the RC/CH button (control-
LED lights up). Repeated pressing for longer than 3
seconds allows the selection of the working channel. The
LED display shows the currently active working channel.
Scrolling through the channels is done by pressing the up
and down buttons. If the channel shown on the display
remains unchanged for longer than 3 seconds, then the
channel setting is stored and the display changes to the
flash power setting.
Start-up and channel selection –
transmitter
The radio transmitter has no built-in main switch for
switching the unit ON. The transmitter is to be connected
to the camera either by attaching it to the hot shoe of the
camera or by connecting the camera to the synchro-
nization socket 4 using the provided synchronization
cable. If the transmitter is connected to the hot shoe the
unit must be carefully tightened using the locking screw 5.
Using the lateral sliding switch 6 the working channel can
be set. There are 3 working channels available and the
option 'All'.

Flash triggering

With correctly installed receiver and transmitter and
proper channel selection, flashes can be released by
pressing the TEST button 3 or by releasing the camera
shutter.
If the working channel on the transmitter matches the
channel on the receiver (i.e. selection of working channel
2 on both units, transmitter and receiver), all flash units
within this working group (working group 2) are triggered.
