9. INSTALLATION OF THE FAN ON A ROOF BASE
The fan bases may differ according to the model (flat roof base, pitched
roof base, vertical arrangement, horizontal arrangement). The installation
of the fan on the top of the base is the same for all types of base and is
illustrated here as an example (
The bases provided are specially designed for the installation of the
terrace and pitched roof fan.For this purpose, you will find threaded
sleeves with M5 attachment screws on the back of the base.
The hinges on the enclosure of the fan must be lined up with the
threaded sleeves of the base, then attached using the screws and
toothed washers provided with the fan.
See to it that the base gasket passes between the pressure taps on the

base of the fan (

The last step is to close the base by screwing the closing brackets

together (
).
The fans have covers that can be opened for the maintenance
and cleaning of the base or of the rotor of the fan. The cover
must be opened only when the fan is powered down and its
rotor is no longer turning. While it is open, take care to protect
the fan against accidental closing (engage the locking system
on the fan).

9. MONTAGE DU VENTILATEUR SUR UN SOCLE
DE TOIT
Les socles de ventilateur peuvent différer en fonction de leur modèle
(socle de toit plat, socle de toit incliné, disposition verticale, disposition
horizontale). Le montage du ventilateur sur la tête du socle est identique
pour tous les types de socle et est illustré ici à titre d'exemple (
Les socles fournis sont conçus spécialement pour le montage du
ventilateur terrasse et toit. A cet effet, vous trouverez des manchons
filetés avec des vis de fixation M5 à l'arrière du socle.
Les charnières situées sur l'enveloppe du ventilateur doivent coïncider
avec les manchons filetés du socle, puis doivent être vissées avec les
vis et les rondelles dentées fournies avec le ventilateur.
Il faut veiller à ce que le joint d'étanchéité du socle passe entre les
prises de pressions à la base du ventilateur (

La dernière étape consiste à fermer le socle en vissant les équerres de
fermeture les unes contre les autres (
Les ventilateurs sont équipés d'un système de capot
ouvrable pour l'entretien et le nettoyage du socle ou du
rotor du ventilateur. Le capot ne doit être ouvert que lorsque
le ventilateur est hors tension et que le rotor de ce dernier
ne tourne plus. Lorsqu'il est ouvert, veillez à protéger le
ventilateur contre une fermeture accidentelle (enclencher le
système de blocage au niveau du ventilateur).
