Schoema Diesel Loco
with Horn and Decoder
THE PROTOTYPE
This modern diesel loco, the
Schoema CFL-150 DH, is made
for switching, branch line and
industrial use. Manufactured by
the Christoph Schöttler Machine
Works in Diepholz, Germany,
these hard-working locos have
been exported to countries all
over the world.
The Schoema weighs 24 metric
tons (52,910 lb.) and is 6.07
meters (19.9 ft.) long. It is propel-
led by a 161 horsepower diesel
motor with an hydraulic drive. It
has a maximum speed of 30 km/h
(19 mph). Two of these locos can
be "doubleheaded" for operation
by one engineer in a single cab.
THE MODEL
This model is factory equipped
with an LGB Multi-Train System
Decoder. It can be used on con-
ventional "analog" layouts as well
as Multi-Train System "digital" lay-
outs . This model also features:
- remote control horn (with Multi-
Train System)
- remote control lighting (with
Multi-Train System) including
cab interior lighting and automa-
tic directional front and rear lan-
terns
- seven-pole Bühler motor powe-
ring all four wheels
- six power pick-ups
- detailed cab interior with gauges
and engineer
- length: 270 mm (10.6 in)
- weight: 1550 g (3.4 lb)

OPERATION
Preparation
This model can be used on layou-
ts with or without the LGB Multi-
Train System. No modifications
are necessary.
Multi-Train System
This model is equipped with a
LGB Multi-Train System Decoder.
The decoder is preset to Loco
Address 1.
Sound
To turn the horn on or off, push
the special function button on the
Multi-Train System Train Mouse or
press the "1" button on the 55015
Universal Remote or 55016 Loco
Remote.
The horn cannot be activated on
layouts without the Multi-Train
System.
Lighting
To turn the lights on or off, press
the lighting function button on the
Multi-Train System Train Mouse or
press the "9" button on the 55015
Universal Remote or 55016 Loco
Remote.
The lights cannot be remotely
controlled on layouts without the
Multi-Train System.
Power Supply
Attention! For safety and reliabi-
lity, operate this model with LGB
power supplies (transformers,
power packs and controls) only.
The use of non-LGB power sup-
plies will void your warranty.
Use this model with LGB power
supplies with an output of at
least 1 amp. For more informati-
on on LGB power supplies for
indoor, outdoor and multi-train
operation, see the LGB catalog.
Attention! After extended opera-
tion, this model may leave carbon
dust or other debris around the
track. This dust and debris can
stain carpet and other materials.
