To listen to the FM radio, extend the telescopic antenna and adjust it for optimum reception. R educe the
length o f the a ntenna if the s ignal is too s trong ( if you a re v ery n ear the transmitter, for example).
As the u nit is e quipped with a b uilt-in a ntenna, the telescopic a ntenna is not needed to listen to AM s tations.
Move the e ntire unit to a djust the b uilt-in a ntenna for optimum reception.

Position the B A ND S E LE C TO R o n the d esired band: AM, F M o r FM S T.
Turn the T U NING K NO B to s earch for the d esired station.

Insert a recorded c assette a nd c lose the c assette d oor.
Press PLAY to s tart playback.
To interrupt playback, p ress PA U S E . To resume, p ress the key a gain.
By p ressing the FW D o r R E W button, fast winding o f the tape is possible in both directions.
To s top the tape, p ress S TO P/E J E C T button.

C onnect headphones with the volume set low and increase it if required. Prolonged listening through some
headphones a t high v olume s ettings c an result in hearing d amage.
R educe the V O LU ME to a low level before putting on the headphones. You can then adjust the V O LU ME
progressively to a c omfortable level.
