h. Troubleshooting
Please read this before something happens.
Problem
The model does not move
The model does not
take off
The model moves forwards/
backward and sidewise, but
does not hover
The model vibrates severely
The tail does not permit
stabilizing
Cause
1. Check whether the transmitter and the receiver
are switched on
2. Check the battery voltage of transmitter and
receiver
3. The channel was different from helicopter and the
controller
4. The gyro of the helicopter can't find out the right point
1. Rotor blades are twisted
2. Motor is too hot
3. Batteries are empty
Check whether the helicopter is exposed to a draught, e.g.
by an opened window or an air conditioner. Hover flight is
not possible when there is a draught
1. Check that the rotors are rotating properly
2. Check whether the model is correctly balanced
1. One or more rotor blades are defective
2. Main or tail rotor disc runs with varying friction on the
main shaft
3. The velocity of rotation of the upper and lower rotor
revolution is uneven
Reparation
Switch on transmitter and/or receiver
Employ completely charged batteries
Make sure the same channel from helicopter and
the controller (A – B)
Move the helicopter onto the flat ground until
the gyro receives the signal
Exchange the rotor blades
Allow the motor to cool down
Charge the batteries or exchange them
Close the window/door, switch off the air
conditioner or select a more suitable room
Possibly change the rotor blades
Possibly change the rotor blades
Replace one or both rotor blades
Make sure that both rotor discs can rotate easily
Correct the trim on the transmitter
