LON Digital Module 8in/out
General information
It is used for the digital input and output of operating conditions within the LON network or in the building periphery.
Depending on the configuration, parameters can be applied to the inputs and outputs. Floating 24 V DC contacts provide
the receiver and transmitter signals. Those contacts can also be loaded with 35 mA per channel.

The cable type serves only as an example. Compliance with the cabling specifications for LON networks is mandatory.

The specified cable cross-sections must not be reduced. They are defined for an ambient temperature of 20° C. If higher
temperatures are applied, the cross-section must be increased. All wires to the LON BOX carry a voltage of 24 V DC and
must be routed separately from the mains supply line. When routing the wiring, compliance with the VDE regulations is
mandatory.
