Installation
Compliance with the safety instructions on pages 22–23 is mandatory.
Electrical connection
Only properly trained, experienced, and safety-conscious electricians are permitted to proceed with electrical connec-
tions. The reliable operation and prevention of damage and dangerous situations can only be guaranteed through the
careful installation and settings made according to this operating manual.
Compliance with the pin configuration according to the terminal diagram, the minimum and maximum power data (see
technical data), and the installation instructions is mandatory. Incorrect terminal connections and misinterpretations of
numbers and colours can lead to malfunctions of the module or external components.
Installing the LON box
When installing the LON box, observation of the regulations by the fire prevention authorities and the country-specific
building regulations is recommended. Use appropriate bolts and anchors to mount the metal housing to a wall.
Note: Ensure to install the housing only in dry rooms. The housing may also be installed on the ceiling or rota-
ted by 180°. The installation of all other components must comply with the operating manual and installation instructions.
