In the case of any damages which are caused due to failure to observe these operating
instructions, the guarantee will expire. We do not assume liability for resulting damages.
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury, caused be improp-
er use or the failure to observe the safety instructions. The guarantee will expire in any
such case.
The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the product is inadmissible because of safety and
approval reasons (CE).
The device must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, high humidity or strong mechanical use.
Never pour out liquids over the device. There is a high risk of fire or a lethal electric shock. However, should
this happen, pull the mains plug from the socket and contact a specialist. This product is not a toy and
should be kept out of reach of children.
Disconnect the system from the net if it is not in use for a longer period of time.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become impossible put the system out of operation and
secure it against any unintended operation.
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
• the system or the connecting cables exhibits visible damage
• the system does not operate any longer
• the system was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time.
• the system was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by transport
Before cleaning the device or performing maintenance, the following safety notes must be observed:
When opening covers or removing parts you may expose live parts. Therefore, disconnect the device from
all voltage sources and connections before performing maintenance work or repairs. Capacitors inside the
device may still carry voltage even though they have been disconnected all voltage sources. Repairs may
only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the hazards involved and the relevant regu-
lations.
When in doubt about how to connect it correctly or should any questions arise concerning its mode of oper-
ation, safety or the connection of the system that are not answered in these operating instructions, contact
our Technical Advisory Service or another expert.
Do not leave packing material unattended. Plastic foils or bags, polystyrene parts, etc. could become dan-
gerous playing material for children.
