Intended Use

 The mini reciprocating saw has been exclusively designed for cutting wood,
chipboard, plastics, PVC, fibreglass, drywall, sheet steel, iron, Aluminium and
other soft materials.
 The intended use also includes an operation following the operating
instructions.
 Any use beyond these parameters (different media, applying force) or any
changes (reconstruction, no original accessory) can lead to serious risks and
is regarded as use that is contrary to the intended purpose.

Before first Use

 Remove the mini reciprocating saw and the accessory from the packaging.
 Check all parts for damage in transit and do not use damaged accessory or a
damaged tool.
 Keep packaging materials out of reach of children. There is risk of suffocation!

Installing/Replacing the Saw Blade

Before installing or replacing the saw blade, make sure the mini reciprocating saw
is not plugged in. Only use suitable saw blades and do not use blunt, damaged or
bent saw blades. When replacing the saw blade wear safety gloves to protect
your hands.
1. Turn the ring of the quick change
chuck (3) counter clockwise for ¼ turn
to release the chuck. Hold the ring
and then pull out the saw blade from
the quick change chuck.
2. Turn the ring of the quick change
chuck (3) counter clockwise for ¼
turn. Hold the ring in this position and
insert the new saw blade with the
cutting side downwards as far as it will
go. Then release the ring. The saw
blade is securely fastened by the quick change chuck.
3. Carefully pull the saw blade to make sure the saw blade is firmly secured.
Ensure the saw blade can move freely in the saw blade guide (4).
Attention: Due to friction the saw blade will become very hot during cutting. When
removing the saw blade protect your hands with safety gloves.
