f) Remote control
Use the remote control to release the shutter remotely. You can also use
the remote control to start and stop video recordings.
The camera must be in video or photo mode.
You cannot use the remote control in menu or playback mode.
• Press the red button on the remote control to start or stop a video record-
ing.
• Press the grey button to take a photo.
Changing the battery
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Do not leave batteries lying around, as they constitute a choking
hazard for children and pets. Seek immediate medical advice if a
battery is swallowed.
When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable
protective gloves to avoid burning your skin.
Batteries must not be short-circuited, opened or thrown into a fire,
as this may cause an explosion.
Never attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as this may
cause an explosion. Only recharge compatible rechargeable bat-
teries and ensure that you use a suitable battery charger.
Ensure that the battery is inserted in the correct polarity (observe
the plus/+ and minus/- signs).
