8. Fault finding and removal

Fog generator does not fog:
Check external activation
Check power source
Check fluid quantity
Check the connection on the fluid can for tightness
Examine sinter filter for impurities
Check fluid hose for tightness
Fog generator fogs in an uncontrolled way:
Check power source
Check external activation
Check for moisture within the device (moisture in the device can trigger the fog process).
Fog generator suddenly switches off:
The temperature alarm device has switched off due to overheating. Remove outer source(s) of
heat and ensure sufficient air supply. The device switches back on again after approx. 15-30
minutes.
Loud buzzing during fogging:
The pump is running dry. ATTENTION: This must be absolutely avoided!
Refill fluid
Check hose coupling and let it lock into place.
Error message E4 in the display:
The device is too hot, the heater switches off and cools down.
Removal: Pull mains plug and reinsert it
Error message E1 in the display:
Please send the device to the service department.
