1. Introduction

The BASE CLASSIC is a powerful fog machine. It combines digital technology with proven technology
and good level of performance. The robust technology guarantees trouble-free operation.
CAUTION: Read carefully before starting up!
Please observe the notes in the operating instructions carefully. In case of non-observation, the
warranty claims will become void. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage and/or
consequential damage resulting.

2. Safety guidelines

Risk of burning and general safety:
Caution: hot vapor escapes from a fog machine! Risk of burning! No persons or heat-sensitive
objects may be situated in a smaller distance of 1.50 m to the fog outlet opening.
During operation of the fog machine, never handle anything at the fog outlet opening.
The location of the machine must be free from vibrations, it must have a sufficient footprint that is
non combustible and not heat-sensitive and which is twice as large as the floor area of the
device.
A minimum distance of 60 cm to combustible materials must be adhered to.
Glycols are chemical alcohols that burn in a slight blue, almost invisible flame. Therefore never
fog in strong ignition sources such as fire or pyro effects.
During operation, occasional escape of hot fluid droplets is possible. Therefore it should be made
sure that they cannot cause any danger to human beings. Comply with a safety clearance of 3
meters to the fog outlet nozzle.
Do not take in fog fluids and keep them away from children. In the event of eye contact, rinse
immediately with plenty of water. When absorbed inadvertently, immediately contact a doctor.
Never open and never leave a device unattended that is connected to an energy source.
Never allow a visual range of less than 2m. You will bear responsibility for persons who move
around in a fogged room.
Fog machines might trigger smoke detectors.
Spilled fluid or squirted droplets might cause danger of slipping. Take up fluid using a cleaning
cloth and dispose of in accordance with regulations.
Artificial fog can be generated in different ways. The method used here, that is generating fog using
evaporator fog machines, is the least dangerous one.
A fog machine is no toy!
