Correct usage

This drawer may only be built in in
combination with the following
Miele appliances:
– Steam ovens DG 2560 and DG 2660
– Built-in coffee machine CVA 2660
To avoid the risk of accidents and
damage to the drawer, you should
read these operating instructions
carefully before using it for the first time.
They contain important notes on the
safety, operation and care of the
drawer. It is also essential to read the
operating and installation instructions
for any other appliance which is fitted in
combination with the drawer.
For safety reasons the drawer must
only be used after it has been built
in.
This drawer is intended for
domestic use only and is not to be
used for commercial purposes.
This drawer must only be used as
described in these instructions.
Any other usage is at the owner's risk
and could be dangerous. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for
damage caused by incorrect or
improper use of the drawer.
Do not store any cooked food in
the drawer. This is to prevent
condensation building up which could
cause damage to the drawer.
Do not use a steam cleaner to
clean the drawer. Pressurised
steam could cause permanent damage
to the surface and to other

components, for which the
manufacturer cannot accept liability.
Do not sit or lean on the opened
drawer. This can damage the
telescopic runners. The drawer has a
maximum load bearing capacity of 15
kg.
Repairs to the drawer may only be
carried out by a service technician
authorised by the manufacturer.
Repairs and other work by unqualified
persons could be dangerous and
invalidate the guarantee.
The drawer is only intended for use
by adults who have read these
operating instructions. Supervise
children whilst you are using it.
This drawer is not a toy. To avoid
the risk of injury, do not allow
children to play on or near it. Supervise
its use by the elderly or infirm.
Food packaging (e.g. cling film,
polystyrene) and plastic wrappings
must be kept out of the reach of babies
and young children. Danger of
suffocation. Dispose of all packaging
safely as soon as possible.
For aluminium drawers (see data
plate):
Those parts of the drawer which are
made of aluminium are susceptible to
scratches, as well as to certain
chemicals including alkalines and
acids. It is essential to follow the
cleaning instructions in "Cleaning and
care". Soiling should be wiped off as
soon as possible. If soiling is left for a
long time, it can have a damaging
effect on the aluminium surfaces.
