Important: Never switch on an empty
deep fat fryer. Use the appliance for
deep frying only.
Never mix oil and fat, as the deep fat fryer
could foam over.
Even the mixing of different types of oil and
fat is dangerous.
Always observe the MIN and MAX marks.

Deep frying

Pour in oil or fat, observing MIN and MAX
marks. Melt fat separately beforehand.

Insert the mains plug, the indicator light
comes on.

Set the required temperature.
The indicator light goes out as soon as the
set temperature has been reached.

Insert the food and turn it several times
during frying. When the food is cooked,
leave it to drain and remove. The times in
the table are guide values which fluctuate
depending on the amount of food.

After frying, pull out the mains plug.
Tip: Leave the fat to cool and take out of the
deep fat fryer as a block. Pour out cooled oil
via the spout (Fig. 7).
Deep fry food golden yellow instead of dark
or brown, remove burnt remnants. Do not
deep fry starchy food, in particular cereal and
products at a temperature above 170 °C
(preparation with low acrylamide content).

Cleaning the appliance

Never immerse the appliance in water
or clean in the dishwasher.
Do not use a steam cleaner.
Do not use sharp or abrasive detergents.

Pull out the mains plug and leave the
deep fat fryer to cool down.

Wipe the outside of the plastic parts with
a damp cloth only.

Wipe the cover with a damp cloth and
washing up liquid. Do not immerse in water.

Take out the basket and clean
(dishwasher proof).
