Problem
The deep fryer
is not working.
The oil splas-
hes.
The food is
doughy and fat.
The food has
not finished
frying.
The oil is frothy
and smokes.

Possible cause
The control panel is incorrectly
mounted.
The plug is not properly in the elec-
trical socket-outlet.
There is no power in the socket-
outlet.
The re-set function is activated.
Too much oil in the oil container.
The frying basket is overfilled.
The oil has been used too many
times and is forming foam.
The oil is not sufficiently hot.
The frying basket is overfilled.
The pieces are too big.
The frying time is too short.
The oil is too hot.
The oil has been used too often.
Solution
Check the mounting.
Insert the plug into the socket-outlet.
Change the socket-outlet or replace
the fuse.
Pull out the plug from the socket-
outlet and let the deep fryer cool down.
Remove the controlpanel and press in
the resetbutton.
Turn off the deep fryer. Let the oil cool
down completely. Pour out a little oil.
Take out some of the food.
Turn off the deep fryer. Let the oil cool
down completely. Empty the oil contai-
ner and fill it with fresh oil.
Set the temperature that is appropriate
for the relevant food.
Take out some of the food.
Cut the pieces into smaller parts.
Continue frying and check the cooking
now and then.
Lower the temperature and continue
frying.
Let the oil cool down completely, empty
the oilcontainer and fill
with new oil.
