The product may only be operated in closed and dry interior rooms.
The device may not become damp or wet. Do not place an containers with
liquid, e.g. vases or plants, on or next to the PC. Liquid might get into the
appliance and impair the electric safety. This poses an extreme risk of fire or
a mortal electric shock.
In such a case, separate the corresponding power outlet from the electricity
(e.g. by deactivating the fuse) and then pull the power plug. The device may
no longer be operated then; take it to a workshop.
Condensation may form when the power pack (respectively the computer in
which the power pack is installed) is brought from a cold into a warm room.
Let the power pack (and the computer in which it is installed) reach room
temperature first before connecting it with the mains voltage and turning it
on. This might take several hours. Otherwise, not only the power pack or the
computer may be destroyed, there is also the risk of a mortal electric shock!
Never touch power packs, computers, power cables and power plugs with
damp or wet hands. Danger of mortal electric shock!
Never pull the power cord out of the socket by tugging on it. Use the ribbed
surface of the plug.
If a power cable shows damages, do not touch it! First separate the corre-
sponding power outlet from the electricity (e.g. via the fuse) and then care-
fully pull the power plug out of the power outlet. Then exchange the power
cable against a new one with the same technical data. It is not admissible to
repair the damaged cable!
Electric appliances do not belong in the hands of children. Be especially
careful in the presence of children. Children might try to insert objects into
the appliance through the openings in the housing. Danger of mortal electric
shock!
Do not leave the packaging material lying around. Plastic foils respectively
bags and Styrofoam parts etc. are dangerous for children.
In commercial institutions, make sure you observe the accident prevention
regulations of the commercial trade organization for electric installations.
In schools, training facilities, hobby and self-help workshops, qualified per-
sonnel needs to supervise the operation of the product.
