1.1 Transmitter and receiver (fig. 1)

2 Safety Notes

The units (transmitter, receiver, plug-in power supplies) corre-
spond to the directive 89/336/EEC for electromagnetic com-
patibility. The plug-in power supplies additionally correspond
to the low voltage directive 73/23/EEC.
The power supply units use lethal mains voltage (230 V~). In
order to prevent a shock hazard, do not open the plug-in
power supplies. Leave servicing to authorized, skilled per-
sonnel only. Furthermore, any guarantee claim expires if
one of the units has been opened.
For operation it is necessary to observe in any case the follow-
ing items:
The units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect them
against humidity and heat (admissible ambient temperature
range 0–40 °C).
