3 Description and function

The 476L52=SK00/5/20/25/30/35 Assemblies are intended for assem-
bling headrests on wheelchairs or seating systems. This requires additional
parts that are not included in the delivery of this article. Adjusting the clam-
ping makes it possible to set the headrest in any position within the entire
working area of each model.
4 Assembly of the clamping plate
4.1Mounting on wheelchair when using the Otto Bock
476D52=SK010/ 15/ 20/ 25/ 30/ 35/ 40/ 45/ 50/ 55 Assemblies
- Use both the middle holes of the adapter plate.
- Attach the clamping plate to the push bar of the adapter set (Fig. ) by
using 2 oval head screws.

- Check to be sure that the backrest material is stable enough to carry the
assembly and the counter pressure of the patient.
- If this is not the case, replace the present material with something stron-
ger.
- Attach the clamping plate directly to the back of the wheelchair with the
appropriate screws and the quite large washers.
- Use the four holes in the corners of the clamping plate.
- Drill four 5.5 mm holes with a hand drill.
- Attach the clamping plate with 4 screws (M5, with a strength of at least 8.8).
