Troubleshooting
In purchasing the McCrypt midi controller, you have acquired a reliable product which has been designed using state-
of-the-art technology.
Nevertheless, problems or errors may occur.
Therefore, we would like to describe how to eliminate possible faults here:
Please observe the safety notes!
No function after the device was connected to the computer's USB interface.

The USB connection is defective Check the USB line.
•
The device is not recognised by the computer. Disconnect and reconnect the device.
•
The USB interface of your computer is defective.
The MIDI controller is recognised, but no sound can be heard.
•
The volume control is not set properly.
•
The soundcard configuration is defective Learn about the correct configuration in the software instructions.
•
The downstream audio device (amplifier, active speaker, etc.) is set incorrectly or switched off.
An interference signal can be heard.
•
The computer's audio output is not shielded sufficiently.
•
An earth loop is present between the connected devices Connect the earth between computer and downstream
audio device with a special earth-isolated cable.
Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised
specialist.
