Application risks and contraindications

The use of ThevoautoActiv does not require any special instructions. Referring to the previous practi-
cal use and several tests executed, we are not knowledgeable of any problem in the use of this product.
When used properly, risks can be excluded.
Important hint: For the correct supply it is important to ensure that the mattress is selected according to the body weight
of the user in question.
• ThevoautoActiv 50 up to a body weight of 50 kg (110.2 lbs)
• ThevoautoActiv 100 from 50 kg (110.2 lb) up to a body weight of 100 kg (220.4 lbs)
• ThevoautoActiv 135 from 100 kg (220.4 lb) up to a body weight of 135 kg (297.6 lbs)
ThevoautoActiv 100 may also be used in the border zone of patients weighing 50 kg/110.2 lb (+/- 2 kg / +/- 4.4 lb).
ThevoautoActiv 135 may also be used in the border zone of patients weighing 100 kg/220.4 lb (+/- 2 kg / +/- 4.4 lb).
If the body weight is distributed very unequally (e.g. strong pelvis or stomach, leg amputation), a mattress for higer
weight should be used.

Warranty conditions

The company Thomashilfen takes full responsibility for the quality of the product supplied. The highest production
standards are used in the selection and processing of materials. All ThevoautoActiv mattresses are subjected to a
thorough final inspection. Thomashilfen offers you a warranty of 24 months. Please retain all relevant ThevoautoActiv
receipts. The warranty covers all claims arising from manufacturing or material defects that affect product function.
Damage arising from inappropriate use and natural wear and tear is excluded.
Important hint: ThevoautoActiv is autoclavable and may be re-used. ThevoautoActiv should be cleaned and disin-
fected using one of the cleaning methods stated on page 7 with every change of user. Servicing by the manufacturer
is not necessary.
