damage the hearing systems.
Switch off the hearing systems when not in use to conserve
battery power.
Remove disposable/rechargeable batteries if you are not
going to use the hearing systems for a long time.

substances that can pollute the environment.
Please do not dispose of your spent disposable or re-
chargeable batteries in household waste.
Please dispose of disposable and rechargeable batteries in
accordance with current regulations, or hand them in to
your hearing system specialist.
Some countries impose certain restrictions on the use
of radio devices.

sible local authorities.

NOTE
Your hearing systems are sensitive to extreme heat,
high humidity, strong magnetic fields (> 0.1 T), X-rays and
mechanical stress.
Never expose your hearing systems to extreme tempera-
tures or high humidity.
Do not leave them lying in the sun.
Do not wear your hearing systems in the shower or when
you are applying makeup, perfume, aftershave, hairspray
or suncream.
Do not put your hearing systems in the microwave.
NOTE
Various kinds of strong radiation can damage your hear-
ing systems, such as medical X-rays or magnetic resonance
imaging of the head.
Do not wear your hearing systems during these or simi-
lar examinations and procedures. Weaker radiation such
as that emitted by radio equipment or during security
checks at airports does not damage your hearing systems.
