Functionality:
During the mains operation, an integrated battery is
charged and controlled during the lighting operation.
In the case of a power outage, battery operation is
switched on. During the battery operation, 1 illumi-
nant with reduced luminous flux is available. When
the mains are back on, the light automatically swit-
ches back to mains operation. Now, the full luminous
flux of both illuminants is available. Charging starts
automatically when the mains are back on.

found in the technical data.
For optical control of the charging, the LED display
integrated in the cap is available (see picture).

mains operation):

Control element button:
Next to the LED, there is button in the lid. By pressing
it, the emergency light feature can be interrupted
during the battery operation.
Switching the emergency light back on by hand is
not possible.
Only after the mains are back on and off again, auto-
matic switching to battery operation takes place.
INFORMATION!
Use this feature to keep the battery on the middle
charge level, e.g. for shorten the charging time
after the mains come back on. Or when you intend
to store the luminaire for a longer period of time.
This spares the battery and extends the life time.

Functionality (toggle switch ON):
The luminaire is without lighting function in mains
operation. At the same time, 2 integrated batteries
are being charged and controlled. In the case of a
power outage, battery operation is switched on. Du-
ring the battery operation, 2 illuminants with reduced
luminous flux are available. When the mains are back
on, the light automatically switches back to mains
operation. Charging starts automatically when the
mains are back on.

For optical control of the charging, two LED displays
integrated in the cap are available (see picture).

The toggle switch integrated in the cap has the func-
tion of turning the emergency light feature on/off.
The symbol plate ON/OFF shows each switching state.
INFORMATION!
After switching to OFF, the luminaire is without
function in mains operation, as well as in without
function in a power outage. Furthermore, the batte-
ries are not being charged.
