3. The Transmitter
Buttons and functions
Adjusting screw for hand rest:
By turning them out, they change the support surface.
Light:
To turn the copter on / off.
Flip:
You can flip the flip by pressing the „Flip" button (at the top right). Push the joystick forward forwards making the model a flip
forward. Please ensure that you have sufficient clearance from the ground (min. 3 meters).
Return Function:
If the key is pressed for a long time, the Coming Home function is activated. This function is realized by three magnetic additio-
nal axes in the gyro and a magnetic sensor in the transmitter, which are balanced at the start. During the „Auto-Return" function,
the station's position is always matched with that of the copier. This function is activated by pressing the „RETURN" button min.
3 seconds. To do this, you must direct the transmitter to the model. The model always flies towards the transmitter, whereby
it does not matter in which attitude the model is. You only have to hold the throttle stick with the height and, if necessary, the
model slightly. The direction of flight can be changed by changing the transmitter position. This function is ended by moving
any other stick.
Particularly important is a proper calibration of the model with the transmitter.
To do this, the transmitter must turn to the model in a line when switching on the transmitter. If this step is not carried out pro-
perly, problems can occur and the model can fly away while in the return function.
If high-voltage cables or other sources of interference should be close, do not use this function.
Headless function:
Press the button to switch the model to headless mode. If the model is flown in this mode, it does not matter how the Quad-
rocopter was rotated. Always the side facing away from the pilot is at the front. Thus, the right and left always remain the same
from the viewpoint of the pilot. It is thus a relative control. When the pitch stick is pulled, the model always flies on the pilot in
this mode. In the case of the „right" roll control, it flies right and left to the left. The transmitter (transmitter antenna) must always
be aligned in the direction of the model. Above all, inexperienced pilots will like this mode. This function can be switched on /
off by pressing the button „Headless".
Start / Stop (Automatic landing):
After switching on and binding the model, you can now start and land the model using this button. Press the button once, the
motors of the model begin to run. You can now use the left control lever to raise the model to the desired height (model as long
as you push the lever up), which then holds it. By pressing the button again, the model starts with the landing. Possible coun-
tersteering necessary when drifting the model.
Speed (agility / gas preselection):
By pressing the buttons you can influence the sensitivity of the model to the control movements at the transmitter. Depending
on your abilities, you can switch the model to a higher level. As the percentage increases, it becomes more agile and aggressive.
There are 3 steps (1x beeps = slow / 2x beeps = medium / 3x beeps = fast)
On / off switch:
To switch the remote control on / off.
Emergency stop switch:
Pressing the button turns off the motors of the model completely. If you are in a situation where there is a danger to others etc.,
you have the possibility to switch off the model.
